Senior software engineer · Frontend bias
Osaretin (Ozzie) builds interfaces that scale.
Platform Lead (Web) at Apadmi — I shape frontend architecture, design systems, and clear client and data boundaries for high-traffic, regulated, and often multi-region products — spanning telecom, health, proptech, and e-commerce-style journeys (including Unite Students). Comfortable with monorepos, CDN + serverless edges, and test-first delivery — WCAG and i18n included.
About
Architecture, systems, and scale
I lead frontend architecture for enterprise apps — routing and data boundaries, predictable async UI and server state, and design systems that keep UX consistent across squads. From customer portals with millions of users to mission-critical workflows, I care how code is structured in monorepos and how apps behave when traffic and data are multi-region.
My toolkit is React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, MUI, GraphQL, with Vite, Cypress, Playwright, Vitest, Jest for confidence, and Storybook, Azure, GitHub Actions for delivery. I align with platform on CDN, caching, and serverless patterns so the UI stays fast at the edge. Comfortable with C# and .NET when APIs live on that stack.
I mentor engineers, contribute to frontend CoP, and care about accessibility (WCAG AA), performance, and clean CI/CD — not just pixel-perfect screens.
Selected work
Products at real scale
Selected work where architecture, design-system thinking, and rigorous testing met real complexity — including telecom, health, proptech, and e-commerce, often with multi-region users and operations-heavy teams behind the scenes.

Credentials
Certifications & advanced study
Formal learning that compounds — not badges for their own sake, but leverage for clearer delivery and better cross-functional work.
Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I)
Scrum.org · 2023
Foundational Scrum theory, roles, events, and artefacts — validated through Scrum.org assessment.
Why it matters
Clearer sprint goals, healthier backlog refinement, and predictable delivery conversations with product and stakeholders — less thrash, more focus on shippable increments.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
Microsoft · 2024
Designing and building cloud-native solutions on Azure — compute, data, messaging, identity, and DevOps-friendly workflows.
Why it matters
Faster alignment with platform and security teams, fewer round-trips on Azure integrations, and more confident choices around scalability, observability, and cost-aware architecture.
MSc — machine learning & analytics focus
De Montfort University · 2021 — 2022
Graduate work including research on using machine learning for credit-card fraud detection — rigorous experimentation, metrics, and validation.
Why it matters
Stronger instinct for data quality, evaluation, and ethical trade-offs; translates into better feature instrumentation, A/B reasoning, and collaboration with data science teams.
Stack
Tools I use often
Runtime, data layer, and quality — the stack behind resilient UIs, design systems, and cloud-friendly delivery.
